Our latest
addition, opened in August 2002. This cottage, originally a thatched timber
framed dwelling from the late 17th or early 18th century, stands by itself
in a large garden which has superb views. Inside much of the original
oak frame and beams remain exposed and as in keeping with a cottage of
this age, there are low ceiling and doorways. Its is an ideal base from
which to visit all the attractions this area has to offer.

On
the ground floor there is a cosy sitting room with log burning stove,
a dining room, kitchen, bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, toilet and
wash basin and a utility room. On the first floor, which is approached
by steep stairs, there are two bedrooms - 1 double and 1 twin - both
have south facing dormer windows which look out towards Tetford church
over
parkland grazed by our pedigree Longhorn cattle.
